Each Tegaderm dressing is framed with a latex-free, hypoallergenic adhesive border to adhere around the wound site. The "W" after the product number of this Tegaderm bandage indicates that the border has a writing label for noting the date of application or other important notations. Additionally, the 3M Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressings are waterproof yet breathable to allow in oxygen while keeping out potential pathogens and contaminants.
