It creates a moist environment that helps prevent infection and maximizes healing. This skin protectant paste adheres to weeping tissue and washes off easily with soap and water. Ilex Paste is bio-compatible with ostomy appliances and other medical devices. It is latex-free and alcohol-free. Ilex cream is not systemically absorbed, so it is safe to use on newborns and elderly care.
