The Promogran Wound Dressing forms a soft, conformable, and biodegradable gel as it absorbs liquid from the site. This gel binds and inactivates matrix metalloproteases (MMPs). As a primary wound dressing, Promogran matrix must be covered by a secondary, low-adherent dressing to maintain a moist healing environment.
