The Passy-Muir Oxygen Adapter Valve is a small clear device that snaps onto the PMV2001 Low-Profile Tracheostomy and Ventilation Valve providing a comfortable and portable method of delivering low-flow oxygen (up to 6 LPM) to patients with a tracheostomy. Oxygen is delivered in front of the Passy-Muir Tracheostomy Valve to reduce potential complications when oxygen is delivered behind the diaphragm such as drying out of the mucus secretions and air trapping. The Passy-Muir Oxygen Adapter Valve Is clear in color and latex-free.
