The pocket forming panel is designed to support an ostomy collection pouch in a secure, horizontal position on the wearer's abdomen without interfering with the function of the ostomy appliance. The Phoenix Ostomy Belt features removable inserts that surround the belt's stomal opening to support peristomal hernias and help prevent leakage. The pouch is able to expand as it securely held and completely covered and it remains accessible for removal and cleaning without having to remove the ostomy belt itself. In addition, this soft, stretchy ostomy belt can be worn for either right or left side stomas for those with a colostomy or ileostomy and can be used with both one- or two-piece pouching systems.
