USP Normal Saline Irrigation Solution by Nurse Assist is 0.9% sodium chloride in a 500mL screw top bottle. This normal saline irrigation solution is used to moisten wound dressings, used as a topical solution, and irrigate flush tubes. Irrigation solution like USP Normal Saline Solution is designed to only be used externally and should never be used for injection.
