The plastic housing of the Tympanic Ear THermometer allows for an IP22 rating for protection against dust and potential entry of liquid. the Fahrenheit/Celcius toggle button makes it easy to read temperatures according to hospital protocol. The ear probe takes readings in as fast as 2 seconds and the disposable probe covers are designed to be single-use in an effort to prevent cross-contamination. The Tympanic Ear Thermometer is able to be mounted on a wall if desired.
